PIT DOMINICANO Route Servers - PEERING Policy
We operate three route servers (BIRDv2) across our sites, supporting RPKI and IRRdb filtering.
RS1: PIT-STI
RS2: PIT-BON
RS3: PIT-SDQ
Redundancy Requirement: For optimal routing, members are requested to peer with at least two (2) route servers.
A. Propagation Management (Large Communities)
Use these communities to control prefix propagation:
Do not advertise to specific AS: 64168:0:Destination_ASN
Advertise ONLY to specific AS: 64168:1:Destination_ASN
Do not advertise to anyone: 64168:0:0
Advertise to all (Default): 64168:1:0
B. Traffic Engineering (AS-PATH Prepend)
Influence inbound traffic by prepending your ASN:
Prepend to ALL: 64168:101:0 (1 hop), 64168:102:0 (2 hops), 64168:103:0 (3 hops)
Prepend to specific AS: 64168:101:ASN (1 hop), 64168:102:ASN (2 hops), 64168:103:ASN (3 hops)
C. Standard Filters (Legacy)
